KROGER: Today was the last day of Super Doubles. I bought ice cream (1.33), diapers (5.27), milk (2.79), tornados (0.69), chicken nugges (1.40), pie (0.59), sour cream (1.00), soap (3.49), goldfish (1.00), Mac Grill Kit (1.49), veg oil (2.69), paper towels (0.50), ketchup (FREE), BBQ sauce (0.45), buns (1.00), grapes (0.99 lb), mango (0.68), bananas (0.59 lb), pork tenderloin (1.75), tortillas (0.69).
This is the 1st time I have done Super Doubles. I still think I like triples better, but this gave me a chance to buy high $ items that I don't typically like to buy but we still need. Dove soap and vegetable oil are an example of this. They are both WAY over my $2 comfort level. At least with SD's I can get them a little better in range.
