Shopping Trip - Saved 81%

CVS: Go here and fill out a short survey to get a $5 off $25 purchase Q. I was very happy to see Coke products on sale again. Last week I had to pay $4 for a 12-pack and it nearly killed me. I bought 12 packs (2.50), dove soap (1.49). Snickers and makeup were FREE.

Regular Price: $42.03
OOP: $5.33 + 15.98 ECBs

WALGREENS: Be sure and check the front of your store for a Back-2-School Coupon Book with more than $50 in savings. These are store coupons which can be stacked with a mfg coupon. I bought V8 Fusion (2.50), lotion (0.99), Band-Aids (0.75), wipes (0.09), toothbrushes (FREE).

Also, Walgreens has their summer toys marked 75% off. I got a bubble machine for $2.50 and a 12 pack of sidewalk chalk for $0.50 (not included).

Regular Price: $69.89
OOP: $5.97 + 32.50 RR
Earned: 25 RR

Actual Cost: $13.47

GRAND TOTAL:

Side Note: I have been asked to be the "official shopper" for my daughter's school so some of the items above (wipes, Band-Aids) I will be reimbursed for.

Additional Side Note: My biggest deal of the week was not on groceries but on clothes. I bought a pair of Kenneth Cole shoes, 1 shirt by GAP, 2 shirts by Old Navy, 1 shirt by Self Esteem, a pair of Danskin athletic pants, and a book for just $21. Where can one find such a deal as mine.... well, Goodwill of course! They have specials every day of the week!
