Deals on Food Pantry Items

As part of our Loving God, Loving People campaign TDF is teaming up with Second Harvest Food Bank to collect food pantry items. They are accepting donations now through next Sunday, October 24th. I realize what an important cause this is, but I also love the challenge of finding a good deal. All of the items below are under $1 and would be welcome additions to any food bank or food pantry organization. Scroll down to see a pic of items that I was able to dig out of my pantry to donate.

MY CURRENT DONATION: Most of this I pulled out of my personal stockpile. I will also be shopping from the above list to get more things this week. It deeply troubles me to think about those who don't have food when I have so much. I am truly blessed and I am more than happy to donate this box of food. I can't wait to shop again this week because I know that Second Harvest will do a great job at getting this to those who need it.
